Centerpoint Trail to Jim Bluff

The Centerpoint Trail is a 3.5 mile journey to the Buffalo River that is well worn (gravel/rock) and is shared with horses.  Very easy to get down, but as always a much harder hike back up.  A bit over 2 miles down the trail opens and you find a campsite next to a huge log.  (Look south and you will find  where the Goat Trail to the Big Bluff begins.)  At the bottom of the trail there are signpost directing you to other trails and attractions (Old River Trail, Compton Trail, Granny's Homestead, Hemmed in Hollow).  There are plenty of great places to make home for the night at Jim Bluff, where we stayed (south), and Sneeds Creek (north).
