Hemmed In Hollow

Hemmed in Hollow is in the truest form of the word...  Awesome!   The trail leads you over small brooks through a lush forest of ferns and hardwoods until all of the sudden bam!  it opens up to a stunning canyon wall with a light waterfall beating the rocks below to collect on the canyon floor.  At over 250' this is the tallest waterfall between the Appalachians and the Rockies.

Spring time is the best for water flow, but even without much water, it is still an amazing site.

There are multiple trails to lead you there.  The Compton trail (2.5mi) seems to be popular, but we took the long way from the Centerpoint trail to also see the Big Bluff.
